How many times have you struggled to add a realistic shadow to your design? How often did you want to extract a shadow from an object but fail miserably? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate, and that's because they aren't solid objects. We've got the solution for you! Our team has created 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion to make your life easier. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist, our shadows are perfect for you and easy to use. They contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. The images we used were originally rendered at 2000 x 2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We then cropped them to reduce the file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles at 25°, 45°, and from top in multiple directions. We saved two versions of each shadow: one is a Hard Shadow for sunny scenes, and the other is a Soft Shadow for cloudy scenes. They're perfect for use in both 2D and 3D projects, and they're noiseless to boot. Choose the shadow that suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects (or the equivalent in any other software) to deform the shadow. Video tutorials are included for reference. Note: You can mix and match between Hard and Soft Shadows as you see fit, depending on the light conditions of your scene. In the end, a shadow is a shadow, and it will never change.
