How many times do you find yourself needing a separate flat shadow while working on your design to make it look more realistic? How often have you tried extracting a shadow from a real object but failed? Shadows are notoriously difficult to manipulate, as they aren't solid objects. Here's the solution we've come up with - 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion added to simplify your work. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or even a 3D artist, and you need to add a shadow to your scene, these are for you and easy to use. They contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. Images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. They were then cropped to reduce the file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles, including 25°, 45°, and top views in multiple directions. We saved two versions of shadows from each object: one is a hard shadow used in sunny scenes, and the other is a soft shadow used in cloudy scenes. These are excellent for use in both 2D and 3D projects, and they're noiseless. Simply choose which shadow suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects, or an equivalent in any other software to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are attached.) Note that you can mix between hard and soft shadows as desired, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Finally, remember that shadow is always a flat shadow, and it will never change.
