How many times do designers need a separate flat shadow to make their designs look more realistic? How often have they wanted to extract a shadow from an object and failed? Shadows are notoriously hard to manipulate because they aren't solid. Here's the solution: 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion added to simplify your work. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist who needs to add a shadow to their scene, these shadows are for you and easy to use, containing everything needed to create a realistic look. Images were originally rendered at 2000 x 2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. They were cropped to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles (25°, 45°, and top) in multiple directions. Two versions of shadow from each object were saved: a hard shadow for sunny scenes and a soft shadow for cloudy scenes. Both are excellent for use in 2D and 3D projects, and they're noiseless. Choose the shadow that suits your design, apply it to the object, then use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects (or an equivalent in another software) to deform the shadow. Video tutorials are attached. You can mix hard and soft shadows as you see fit, depending on your scene's light conditions. Finally, remember that a shadow is just a shadow – it won't change.
