How many times have you found yourself needing a separate flat shadow while working on your design to give it a more realistic look? How often have you attempted to extract a shadow from an actual object but failed? Shadows can be tricky to manipulate, as they are not solid. We've got the solution! We've created 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion added to make your work easier. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or even a 3D artist who needs to add a shadow to your scene, they're perfect for you and easy to use. They contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. Images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. They were then cropped to reduce the file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles - 25°, 45°, and from the top in multiple directions. We saved two versions of shadows from each object: one is a Hard shadow used in sunny scenes, and the other is a soft shadow used in cloudy scenes. These are excellent for use in 2D and 3D projects and are completely noiseless. Choose the shadow that suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects, or its equivalent in any other software to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are attached.) You can mix between Hard and Soft shadows as you like, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Shadow is shadow and will never change.
