We all know how tricky shadows can be to manipulate when working on our designs. How often have you struggled to create a realistic shadow or tried to extract one from an object, only to end up with something that just doesn't look right? Shadows are notoriously hard to handle because they aren't solid objects - but we've got the solution for you! Our 100% transparent shadows feature ambient occlusion, making your work a whole lot easier. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor or 3D artist, these shadows are perfect for you and super easy to use. They come with everything you need to give your project a realistic look. Our images were originally rendered at 2000 x 2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We then cropped them to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from multiple angles - 25°, 45° and straight on - in different directions. We saved two versions of each shadow: one hard shadow for sunny scenes and one soft shadow for cloudy scenes. They're perfect for use in both 2D and 3D projects and are completely noise-free. All you have to do is choose the right shadow for your design, apply it to the object, and then use a deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects (or its equivalent in any other software) to deform the shadow. Check out our video tutorials to learn more. You can mix and match hard and soft shadows as you see fit - it all depends on the lighting conditions of your scene. And remember, a shadow is a shadow and will always stay that way.
