How many times have you needed a separate flat shadow to make your design look more realistic? How often did you want to extract a shadow from an actual object, only to be thwarted by its elusive nature? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate, as they're inherently non-solid. But now, we've got the solution! We've created 100% transparent shadows with Ambient occlusion, making your work a whole lot easier. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist, and you need to add a shadow to your scene, these are for you and easy to use. They contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. The images were originally rendered at 2000×2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding, then cropped to reduce the file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles – 25°, 45°, and from top in multiple directions. We saved two versions of each shadow: one hard shadow for sunny scenes and another soft shadow for cloudy scenes. These are excellent for use in both 2D and 3D projects, and they're noiseless. Choose the shadow that suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects, or its equivalent in any other software to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are included). You can mix between hard and soft shadows as you see fit, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Finally, a shadow is a shadow – it will never change.
