How many times have you needed a separate flat shadow while working on your design to make it look more realistic? How often did you want to extract a shadow from a real object, but fail? Shadows are notoriously difficult to manipulate because they're not solid objects. We've got the solution! We created 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion added to simplify your workflow. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist who needs to add a shadow to your scene, these shadows are designed for you and easy to use - they contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. Images were originally rendered at 2000×2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. They were then cropped to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles, including 25°, 45°, and top-down views in multiple directions. We saved two versions of each shadow: one hard version for use in sunny scenes and a soft version for cloudy scenes - both are perfect for 2D and 3D projects and are completely noiseless. Choose the shadow that best suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like Photoshop's "Transform" tool or After Effects' "Corner Pin" effect to deform the shadow (video tutorials are attached). You can mix and match between hard and soft shadows as you see fit - this depends on the light conditions of your scene. Remember, a shadow is always a shadow and never changes.
