How often do designers struggle with creating realistic shadows? How many times have you attempted to extract a shadow from an object only to fall short? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate, and the reason is simple - they're not solid. That's why we've developed 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion to simplify your workflow. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor or 3D artist in need of adding a shadow to your scene, these shadows are designed specifically for you and are incredibly easy to use. They contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. Images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. They were then cropped to reduce the file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from multiple angles, including 25°, 45° and top views in various directions. We also saved two versions of each shadow: one hard shadow suitable for sunny scenes and another soft shadow perfect for cloudy scenes. Both types are ideal for use in 2D and 3D projects and are completely noiseless. Simply choose the shadow that suits your design, apply it to the object, and use any deformer tool like Photoshop's "Transform" or After Effects' "Corner Pin" effect to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are provided.) You can also mix between hard and soft shadows as needed, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Remember, a shadow is a shadow - it will never change.
