Designers often require a separate flat shadow to enhance the realism of their design. However, extracting shadows from real objects can be challenging due to their intangible nature. Here is where our solution comes in – we've created 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion to simplify your workflow. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist, these shadows are designed for you and are easy to use, containing everything you need to achieve a realistic look for your project. The images used were originally rendered at 2000×2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. They were then cropped to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from various angles, including 25°, 45°, and top views in multiple directions. Two versions of shadows were created for each object: a hard shadow suitable for sunny scenes and a soft shadow ideal for cloudy scenes. These shadows are perfect for use in both 2D and 3D projects and are free from noise. Choose the shadow that suits your design and apply it to the object, then use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects, or its equivalent in other software to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are included.) You can mix between hard and soft shadows as desired, depending on the lighting conditions of your scene. Shadows remain constant and will never change.
