How often do designers need a separated flat shadow to make their design look more realistic? How many times have visual artists wanted to extract a shadow from an object, but failed because shadows are notoriously hard to manipulate? They're not solid objects, after all! We've got the solution right here. Our 100% transparent shadows come with Ambient occlusion built-in to make your work easier than ever. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor or 3D artist, we've got what you need to add realistic shadows to your scene. Images were rendered at 2000×2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding and then cropped to reduce file size. Shadows were captured from multiple angles: 25°, 45°, and straight on, in various directions. We saved two versions of each shadow - one for sunny scenes (hard shadows) and another for cloudy scenes (soft shadows). These are perfect for use in both 2D and 3D projects and come with no noise. Choose the right shadow for your design and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like Photoshop's "Transform" or After Effects' "Corner Pin" effect to deform the shadow as needed. (Video tutorials are attached.) You can mix hard and soft shadows as you see fit, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Shadows never change - they're always just shadows.
