How many times have you struggled with flat shadows while working on a design to make it look more realistic? How often did you want to extract a shadow from a real object but failed? Manipulating shadows can be tough because they're not solid objects! Fortunately, we've got the solution for you. We've created 100% transparent shadows, complete with Ambient Occlusion to simplify your workflow. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects specialist, compositor, or 3D artist in need of adding a shadow to your scene, these are designed specifically for you and easy to use - they contain everything you need to give your project a realistic look. Images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. They were then cropped to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles, including 25°, 45°, and straight down, in multiple directions. We saved two versions of shadow from each object: one for hard shadows used in sunny scenes and another for soft shadows used in cloudy scenes. They're excellent for use in both 2D and 3D projects and are completely noiseless. Choose the shadow that best suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects - or its equivalent in another software - to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are provided.) Note: You can mix hard and soft shadows as needed, depending on the lighting conditions of your scene. Finally, remember that a shadow is always a shadow and will never change.
