How many times have you struggled with adding a separated flat shadow to your design to make it look more realistic? How often did you attempt to extract a shadow from a real object, only to fall short? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate because they lack solidity. Fortunately, we've developed the solution you need! Our 100% transparent shadows feature Ambient Occlusion, making them easier to use than ever before. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist in need of a shadow for your scene, these are perfect for you. They contain everything required to create a realistic look for your project. The images were originally rendered at 2000 x 2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We then cropped them to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles - 25°, 45°, and from directly above in multiple directions. Two versions of shadow were saved from each object: one hard shadow for use in sunny scenes and one soft shadow for cloudy scenes. These are ideal for 2D and 3D projects and are completely noiseless. Choose the shadow that suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like Photoshop's Transform tool or After Effects' Corner Pin effect (or their equivalents in other software) to deform the shadow. Video tutorials are included below for reference. Note: You can mix hard and soft shadows as desired, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Shadow is shadow, after all - it will never change.
