How often have designers struggled with creating realistic shadows? How frequently have they attempted to extract a shadow from an object only to fall short? The difficulty lies in the fact that shadows are intangible. That's where we come in! We've created 100% transparent shadows, complete with Ambient Occlusion, designed to simplify your workflow. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist, these shadows are perfect for adding depth to your scene. They're easy to use and contain everything you need to achieve a realistic look. The images used were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We then cropped them to reduce the file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from various angles, including 25°, 45°, and top views in multiple directions. Two versions of each shadow were saved: a Hard Shadow for sunny scenes and a Soft Shadow for cloudy scenes. These are ideal for use in both 2D and 3D projects and are completely noiseless. Choose the shadow that suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are available.) You can also mix and match Hard and Soft Shadows based on the lighting conditions of your scene. Remember, shadows remain consistent across all scenes.
