How many times have you struggled to create a realistic shadow in your design? How often did you try to extract a shadow from a real object, only to be left frustrated? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate, and that's because they're not solid objects. But what if you could achieve 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion built-in? We've done the hard work for you! Our solution is perfect for designers, cartoon artists, visual effects artists, compositors, or 3D artists who need to add a shadow to their scene. They're easy to use and contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. Images were originally rendered at 2000×2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We then cropped them to reduce the file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles – 25°, 45°, and from top in multiple directions. Two versions of shadow are provided for each object: a Hard shadow for sunny scenes and a Soft shadow for cloudy scenes. Both are noiseless and perfect for use in 2D and 3D projects. Choose the shadow that suits your design best and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects (or an equivalent in another software) to deform the shadow. Video tutorials are attached for your reference. You can mix and match between Hard and Soft shadows as you see fit – it's all about simulating the light conditions of your scene. Remember, a shadow is just that: a shadow. It won't change, no matter what.
