3D Shadow - Grass 02

How many times do you wish you had a seamless flat shadow while working on your design to make it look more realistic? How often have you wanted to extract a shadow from a real object and been unsuccessful? Shadows can be tricky to manipulate because they're not solid objects! That's why we've come up with the solution. We've created 100% transparent shadows with Ambient occlusion added to simplify your work. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor or even a 3D artist who needs to add a shadow to their scene, these are for you and easy to use - they contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. Images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. They were then cropped to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles, including 25°, 45°, and top views in multiple directions. We saved two versions of each shadow: one is a hard shadow used in sunny scenes and the other is a soft shadow used in cloudy scenes. These shadows are excellent for use in both 2D and 3D projects and are noiseless. Choose which shadow suits your design and apply it to the object, then simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects (or the equivalent in any other software) to deform the shadow. Video tutorials are included below. You can mix between hard and soft shadows as you prefer, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Shadow is a fundamental element that remains constant - it never changes.
