How many times do you find yourself needing a separate flat shadow to make your design look more realistic? How often do you want to extract a shadow from a real object, but it just won't cooperate? Shadows can be tough to manipulate because they're not solid objects. We've got the solution for you! Our 100% transparent shadows come with Ambient Occlusion built-in, making your work easier than ever. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist looking to add some depth to your scene, these shadows are for you and super easy to use. The images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. They were then cropped to reduce the file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles - 25°, 45°, and straight on in multiple directions. We saved two versions of each shadow: one hard shadow for sunny scenes and one soft shadow for cloudy scenes. Both are perfect for use in 2D and 3D projects and come with no noise. Just choose the shadow that fits your design best, apply it to your object, and then use any deformer tool like Photoshop's "Transform" or After Effects' "Corner Pin" effect (or the equivalent in another software) to deform the shadow. Video tutorials are attached for your convenience. You can mix and match hard and soft shadows as you see fit, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Remember, a shadow is just that - a shadow - and will always behave like one.
