3D Shadow - Fabrics 10

How often do you find yourself needing a separate flat shadow to make your design look more realistic while working on it? How many times have you attempted to extract a shadow from a real object, only to fall short because shadows are notoriously difficult to manipulate, being as they are not solid objects. We've got the solution here! Our 100% transparent shadows come with Ambient Occlusion built right in, making your work a whole lot easier. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects expert, compositor or 3D artist who needs to add a shadow to your scene, these shadows are for you and super easy to use - they've got everything you need to give your project that realistic look. The images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding, then cropped down to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles - 25 degrees, 45 degrees and straight on in multiple directions - and we saved two versions of each shadow: a hard shadow perfect for sunny scenes and a soft shadow ideal for cloudy scenes. They're great for use in both 2D and 3D projects, plus they're completely noiseless. Just choose the shadow that suits your design best and apply it to the object, then use any deformer tool like the Transform tool in Photoshop or the Corner Pin effect in After Effects (or whatever equivalent tool you've got in your software) to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are attached.) You can even mix and match between hard and soft shadows as you see fit - just adjust them according to the light conditions of your scene. Shadow is shadow, after all, and it's not going anywhere!
