3D Shadow - Fabrics 08

How many times have you struggled to create a realistic design without the perfect shadow? How often did you fail to extract a convincing shadow from an object, no matter how hard you tried? Shadows can be tricky to manipulate because they're not solid objects - that's why we've developed 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion to make your life easier. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor or 3D artist in need of a shadow for your scene, these are the perfect solution for you. We captured images from different angles at 25°, 45° and straight on in multiple directions. We then saved two versions of each shadow - one hard shadow for sunny scenes and one soft shadow for cloudy scenes. These shadows are ideal for use in both 2D and 3D projects, and they're completely noiseless. Just choose the right shadow for your design and apply it to the object. Then, use a deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects (or an equivalent tool in any other software) to deform the shadow. We've included video tutorials to help you along. Remember, you can mix and match between hard and soft shadows depending on your scene's lighting conditions.
