How often do you struggle to create a realistic-looking design without a well-defined flat shadow? How many times have you tried extracting a shadow from an object, only to fall short? Shadows can be tricky to manipulate because they aren't solid objects. We've got the solution! Our 100% transparent shadows come with Ambient Occlusion to make your work easier. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist, our shadows are perfect for adding depth to your scene. They're easy to use and include everything you need to create a realistic look. Our images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We then cropped them to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles - 25°, 45°, and straight on - in multiple directions. We saved two versions of each shadow: Hard for sunny scenes and Soft for cloudy ones. These shadows are excellent for use in both 2D and 3D projects and come without noise. Choose the shadow that suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like the Transform tool in Photoshop or the Corner Pin effect in After Effects, or its equivalent in other software to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are attached.) You can mix Hard and Soft shadows as needed, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Remember, a shadow is just that - a shadow. It won't change.
