How many times have you struggled to create a convincing shadow in your design? How often have you wanted to extract a realistic shadow from an object, only to be thwarted by their ephemeral nature? Shadows are notoriously difficult to manipulate because they aren't solid entities. That's why we've developed a game-changing solution: 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion, designed to simplify your workflow. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects specialist, compositor, or 3D artist, our shadows are the perfect tool for adding depth and realism to your projects. They're easy to use and contain everything you need to create a stunning visual effect. Our images were rendered at an ultra-high resolution of 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We then cropped them to reduce file size and optimize the content ratio. Shadows were captured from multiple angles - 25°, 45°, and directly above - in various directions. Two versions of each shadow were created: a Hard Shadow for sunny scenes and a Soft Shadow for cloudy conditions. Choose the shadow that best suits your design and apply it to your object. Then, use any deformation tool like Photoshop's Transform or After Effects' Corner Pin effect to shape the shadow as needed. (Video tutorials are provided.) Feel free to mix and match between Hard and Soft Shadows based on the lighting conditions in your scene. Shadows are shadows, and they won't change - but with our solution, you can create a more realistic and engaging visual experience.
