We all struggle to create a realistic design. How many times have you needed a separate flat shadow while working on your design? How often did you want to extract a shadow from a real object but failed? Shadows can be tough to manipulate because they're not solid objects! Here's the solution: we've made 100% transparent shadows with Ambient occlusion added to make your work easier. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist who needs to add a shadow to your scene, these are for you and easy to use. They contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. Images were originally rendered at 2000 x 2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We then cropped them to reduce the file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles - 25°, 45°, and from top in multiple directions. We saved two versions of each shadow: one hard shadow used in sunny scenes and the other soft shadow used in cloudy scenes. These are excellent for use in both 2D and 3D projects, plus they're noiseless. Choose which shadow suits your design and apply it to the object. Then just use any deformer tool like Photoshop's "Transform" or After Effects' "Corner Pin" effect - or its equivalent in any other software - to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are attached.) You can mix between hard and soft shadows as you like, depending on your scene's light conditions. Shadow is shadow and will never change.
