How many times do you wish you had a seamless flat shadow to make your design more lifelike? How often did you try to extract a shadow from an object and fail miserably? Shadows are notoriously tricky to manipulate, since they aren't solid objects! Fortunately, we've got the solution for you. We've created 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion added in to streamline your workflow. Whether you're a designer, cartoonist, visual effects artist, compositor or 3D modeler, and you need to add a shadow to your scene, these are perfect for you and easy to use - they contain everything you need to give your project a realistic look. Images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We then cropped them to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from multiple angles @ 25°, 45° and straight down in various directions. We saved two versions of shadow from each object - one is Hard shadow used in sunny scenes and the other is Soft shadow used in cloudy scenes. They're ideal for use in both 2D and 3D projects, and they're completely noiseless. Simply choose which shadow suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, just use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects, or its equivalent in any other software to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are attached). You can mix between hard and soft shadows as you see fit - this depends on the lighting conditions of your scene. Shadows are simply shadows and will never change.
