How often do designers need to add a separate flat shadow to their work? How many times have designers struggled to extract a realistic shadow from an object, only to fall short? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate because they lack substance. However, we've found the solution! Our team has created 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion built-in, making it easier than ever for designers to add a professional touch to their projects. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist, our shadows are perfect for adding depth and realism to your scenes. They contain everything you need to create a stunning look for your project. Our images were rendered at an impressive 2000 x 2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We then cropped them to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Our shadows were captured from multiple angles, including 25°, 45°, and directly from above. We saved two versions of each shadow - one for hard scenes and one for soft scenes. These shadows are ideal for use in both 2D and 3D projects and come without noise. Choose the shadow that suits your design best and apply it to your object. Then, simply use a deformer tool like the Transform tool in Photoshop or the Corner Pin effect in After Effects (or an equivalent tool in another software) to shape the shadow as desired. Video tutorials are available to guide you through this process. You can mix and match hard and soft shadows to suit the lighting conditions of your scene. Remember, a good shadow is essential for creating a believable scene.
