How many times have you struggled to create a realistic flat shadow while working on your design? How often did you try extracting a shadow from a real object, only to fail? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate because they are not solid. That's why we've developed 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion to simplify the process. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist, these shadows are designed for you and easy to use. They contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. The images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We then cropped them to reduce the file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from various angles, including 25°, 45°, and from directly above in multiple directions. We saved two versions of shadow from each object: a hard shadow used in sunny scenes and a soft shadow used in cloudy scenes. These shadows are excellent for use in both 2D and 3D projects and are completely noiseless. Choose the shadow that suits your design and apply it to the object, then simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects, or its equivalent in other software to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are provided.) You can mix hard and soft shadows as you see fit, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Remember, a shadow is just that - it doesn't change.
