How many times do you find yourself needing a separate flat shadow to make your design look more realistic? How often have you tried extracting a shadow from a real object, only to fall short? Shadows can be tricky to manipulate because they aren't solid. That's why we've come up with the solution: 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion added to simplify your work. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist, these shadows are for you and easy to use. They contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. The images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. They were cropped to reduce the file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles: 25°, 45°, and from top in multiple directions. Two versions of shadow were saved from each object: a hard shadow for sunny scenes and a soft shadow for cloudy scenes. These are excellent for use in 2D and 3D projects, plus they're noiseless. Choose the shadow that suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects, or the equivalent in any other software to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are attached.) You can mix between hard and soft shadows as you like, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Shadow is shadow and will never change.
