How many times did you struggle to create a convincing flat shadow in your design? How often have you tried to extract a realistic shadow from an object, only to fall short? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to work with because they are intangible. That's why we've come up with the solution! We've developed 100% transparent shadows that include Ambient Occlusion to make your job easier. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist, these shadows are perfect for adding depth to your scene. They're easy to use and contain everything you need to create a realistic look. Our images were rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We then cropped them to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from various angles, including 25°, 45°, and top views in multiple directions. We saved two versions of each shadow: a hard shadow for sunny scenes and a soft shadow for cloudy scenes. These shadows are ideal for use in both 2D and 3D projects and are completely noise-free. Choose the shadow that best suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects, or its equivalent in another software to warp the shadow. (Video tutorials are included.) You can mix and match hard and soft shadows as needed, depending on the lighting conditions of your scene. Shadows remain a fundamental aspect of visual design that will never change.
