How often do designers struggle to achieve a realistic look in their designs, only to find themselves wrestling with the elusive task of adding a convincing shadow? How many times have you wished to extract a shadow from a real-world object, only to be thwarted by its intangibility? Shadows are notoriously difficult to manipulate because they lack substance. Fortunately, we've developed a solution that's both transparent and remarkably effective. Our 100% transparent shadows, infused with Ambient Occlusion, make it easier than ever to add depth and dimension to your work. Whether you're a seasoned designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, or compositor, our shadows are designed to be versatile and easy to use. We've crafted them with the specific needs of each profession in mind, ensuring that they contain everything necessary to create a stunningly realistic look for your project. Our images were captured at 2000×2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding, and then cropped to reduce file size while maintaining the optimal content ratio. We captured shadows from multiple angles – including 25°, 45°, and top views – to ensure maximum versatility. For added convenience, we've included two versions of each shadow: a hard version perfect for sunny scenes and a soft version ideal for cloudy conditions. When choosing which shadow suits your design, simply apply it to the object and use any deformer tool at your disposal – such as Photoshop's "Transform" tool or After Effects' "Corner Pin" effect. (Video tutorials are conveniently linked below.) Feel free to mix and match hard and soft shadows to suit the lighting conditions of your scene. Remember, a shadow is a shadow – and it will always be so. It won't change its fundamental nature, no matter how you manipulate it.
