3D Shadow - Candle 01

How many times have you struggled to get a convincing flat shadow in your design, only to settle for something less than realistic? How often have you tried to extract a shadow from a real object, but it just didn't turn out right? The truth is, shadows can be incredibly difficult to manipulate because they're not solid. They move and change with the light, making them a challenge to work with. But what if we told you that there's a solution? A way to create 100% transparent shadows that make your design look more realistic than ever before. We've done the hard work for you, adding Ambient Occlusion to our shadows to make them easier to use and more versatile than ever. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor or 3D artist, these shadows are perfect for anyone who needs to add a shadow to their scene. They contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project, including two versions of the same object - one with a hard shadow and one with a soft shadow. Our images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding, then cropped to reduce the file size and fit the content ratio. We captured shadows from different angles - 25°, 45° and from top - in multiple directions, giving you a range of options to choose from. Plus, they're noiseless, so you don't have to worry about any unwanted artifacts. All you need to do is choose which shadow suits your design best, apply it to the object, and then use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects. Or, if you're using a different software, just find the equivalent tool and follow the same process. We've included video tutorials to help guide you through the process. One of the best things about our shadows is that they can be mixed and matched to suit your scene's light conditions. So, whether it's sunny or cloudy outside, you can adjust the shadow to match. And remember, a good shadow is one that looks realistic - so don't be afraid to experiment until you get it just right.
