3D Shadow - Bus 01

How often do designers need to add a separate flat shadow to make their designs look more realistic? How many times have artists struggled to extract shadows from real objects, only to come up empty-handed? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate because they're not solid. The solution is here! We've created 100% transparent shadows with ambient occlusion to simplify the process. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist in need of adding shadows to your scene, these tools are for you and easy to use, offering everything needed to create a realistic look for any project. Images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. They were cropped to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles at 25°, 45°, and from top in multiple directions. We saved two versions of each shadow - one hard for sunny scenes and the other soft for cloudy scenes - both excellent for use in 2D and 3D projects and completely noiseless. Choose the shadow that suits your design best and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects, or its equivalent in any other software to deform the shadow. Video tutorials are provided for reference. Note: You can mix between hard and soft shadows as you prefer, depending on your scene's light conditions. Finally, a shadow is just that - it never changes.
