How many times have you needed a separate flat shadow while working on your design to make it look more realistic? How often did you want to extract a shadow from a real object, but failed to do so? Shadows can be tricky to manipulate because they aren't solid. Here's the solution! We've created 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion added to simplify your work. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or even a 3D artist, and you need to add a shadow to your scene, these are for you and easy to use. They contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. Images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding, then cropped to reduce the file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles - 25 degrees, 45 degrees, and from the top in multiple directions - and we saved two versions of each shadow: one hard shadow for sunny scenes and another soft shadow for cloudy scenes. These are excellent for use in 2D and 3D projects and are completely noiseless. Choose the shadow that suits your design and apply it to the object, then simply use any deformer tool like the Transform tool in Photoshop or the Corner Pin effect in After Effects, or an equivalent in any other software to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are included.) Note: You can mix between hard and soft shadows as you like, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Finally, a shadow is a shadow and will never change.
