How many times have you found yourself struggling to create a convincing flat shadow in your design? How often have you attempted to extract a shadow from a real object, only to fall short? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate due to their intangible nature. However, we've got the solution for you! We've crafted 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion to streamline your workflow. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects specialist, compositor, or 3D artist in need of adding a shadow to your scene, these shadows are at your service and incredibly easy to use, offering everything required to achieve a realistic look for your project. The images were originally rendered at 2000×2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. They were then cropped to reduce file size and maintain the content ratio. Shadows were captured from various angles: 25°, 45°, and top views in multiple directions. We saved two versions of shadows from each object: Hard shadow for use in sunny scenes and Soft shadow for cloudy conditions. These shadows are perfect for 2D and 3D projects, plus they're completely noiseless. Simply choose the shadow that best suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, utilize any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects, or its equivalent in other software to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are attached.) You can mix and match Hard and Soft shadows as desired, depending on your scene's light conditions. Shadow is simply an illusion; it will never change.
