How often do you need a separate flat shadow while working on your design to make it look more realistic? How many times have you wanted to extract a shadow from a real object, only to be unsuccessful? Shadows can be tricky to manipulate because they're not solid objects. That's where we come in with our solution! We've created 100% transparent shadows that include Ambient Occlusion to simplify your work. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or even a 3D artist who needs to add a shadow to your scene, these are for you and easy to use. They contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. The images were originally rendered at 2000 x 2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding, then cropped to reduce the file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles - 25°, 45°, and from top in multiple directions. We saved two versions of each shadow: one is a Hard Shadow used in sunny scenes, and the other is a Soft Shadow used in cloudy scenes. They're perfect for use in both 2D and 3D projects and are noiseless. Choose which shadow suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects, or its equivalent in any other software to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are attached). You can mix between Hard and Soft Shadows as you like, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Finally, a shadow is just a shadow - it never changes.
