3D Shadow - Ball 02

How many times have you struggled to create a convincing flat shadow while working on your design? How often did you try extracting a realistic shadow from an object, only to be frustrated by its elusive nature? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate, as they are inherently intangible. The solution is here! We've developed 100% transparent shadows, complete with Ambient Occlusion, to simplify the process for designers, cartoon artists, visual effects specialists, compositors, and 3D artists alike. Whether you're working on a design project or need to add depth to your scene, these shadows are the perfect solution. Our images were originally rendered at an impressive 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We then cropped them to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from multiple angles - 25°, 45°, and from directly above - in various directions. For each object, we created two versions of its shadow: a hard shadow suitable for sunny scenes and a soft shadow ideal for cloudy conditions. These shadows are perfect for use in both 2D and 3D projects and boast zero noise. To apply these shadows to your design, simply choose the one that best fits your scene and deform it using any tool you prefer - such as the Transform tool in Photoshop or the Corner Pin effect in After Effects. Video tutorials are available to guide you through this process. You can mix and match hard and soft shadows to suit the lighting conditions of your scene, allowing for unparalleled flexibility. Remember, a well-crafted shadow is essential for creating a convincing atmosphere in any design.
