How many times have you struggled to create a realistic shadow in your design? How often did you wish you could extract a shadow from a real object, only to be foiled by their elusive nature? Shadows are notoriously difficult to manipulate because they're not solid entities. That's why we've developed 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion, making it easier for designers, cartoon artists, visual effects artists, compositors, and 3D artists to add depth and realism to their projects. Images were rendered at an impressive 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We then cropped them to reduce file size and maintain the content ratio. Shadows were captured from multiple angles (25°, 45°, and top views) in various directions, resulting in two distinct versions: a hard shadow for sunny scenes and a soft shadow for cloudy conditions. Both are excellent for use in 2D and 3D projects, with the added bonus of being noiseless. Choose the shadow that suits your design best and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like the Transform tool in Photoshop or the Corner Pin effect in After Effects (or their equivalents in other software) to deform the shadow. Video tutorials are available for reference. You can mix and match hard and soft shadows as needed, depending on your scene's lighting conditions. Remember, a shadow is just a shadow – it won't change its fundamental nature.
