3D Self Portrait

To create a 3D print of myself, I utilized the Kinect for Xbox along with Skanect software, which was purchased due to its high-quality scans and embedded cleanup tools. The obtained scan was processed in MeshMixer using the "cut plane" feature, creating a flat base for printing. The resulting OBJ file was then sliced with MakerWare before being printed on a Replicator 2 printer. I followed Tony Buser's tutorial (http://vimeo.com/38764290) for guidance in this process.
