I had planned to dash back home right away today and wrap up my tasks promptly, but as fate would have it, a chance encounter with some neighbors diverted my attention, and we got stuck in a lengthy conversation that left me exhausted. Only when we finally wrapped up did I head upstairs to my flat, where I found that the TV show I'd been eager to catch was already underway; inevitably, this meant more time watching than I had anticipated. Commercials tend to drag on, and as an impromptu distraction, they can prove excruciatingly long-winded - one option might have been to slip away unnoticed while no one's paying attention, but discretion aside, courtesy got the better of me; after all, my elderly neighbor and another in precarious health require more than just occasional visits for their meals. Given this scenario, I made the most of those ad breaks to tackle a design model that I envisioned would not only bring cheer to its potential setting - a barber shop, as it so happens - but one which might have left the designers themselves rather impressed by the result; my workload turned out to be more agreeable than initially thought, allowing me an earlier-than-expected conclusion; however, plenty still needs attention outside of work hours; alas, that is precisely where this account ends.
