3D Scanner Base
thingiverse
This is the fundamental component of my 3D Scanner design, designed to accommodate a stepper motor at its base and have the shaft protrude through its center. The objective stand attaches directly to this shaft and is produced separately. My particular motor is a Nema 17 Bipolar 40mm stepper motor that fits snugly within this housing and features four countersunk holes in its top for securing the assembly. A YouTube video showcasing an assembled scanning setup incorporating my base, printed in green, can be found below. Please note that the otherwise quiet video contains an unfortunate moment of my friend's smoker's cough. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5V6RjG1XKtQ
