3D scanned sculpture of my dad

Here I present you a 3D scan of my father taken to an exceptionally high resolution. By intentionally removing his arms, I've allowed for the creation of an exquisitely detailed replica of his face - this was an exercise in precision reproduction, and so my dad was chosen as the model. I used a white PLA filament and produced it with 35cm height, an incredibly fine layer resolution of 200µm, along with a robust yet minimal infill level of 10%. This arduous printing process took approximately 49 hours to complete - but the outcome is truly outstanding! The sculpture now finds a place on the shelf at my parents' home. It's not out of the question that I'll eventually add some paintwork...
