3D scan of me
pinshape
I'm excited to share my very first 3D scan! To achieve this, I used an Xbox 360 Kinect camera connected to my trusty MAC Mini computer. The scanning process was handled by Skanect Pro, which produced a remarkably accurate scan. Next, I fine-tuned the scan using Meshmixer, making sure every detail was just right. Once satisfied, I sent it off to Slic3r for slicing, where I specified .1mm layer settings and 5% infill for optimal results. Finally, my trusty XYZ printer brought the design to life. But that wasn't all - after printing, I took the extra step of washing the model in a cold Acetone vapor bath for about an hour to give it a smooth finish.
