After trekking almost the entire length of Penang Island last year, snapping plenty of photos and indulging in Mee Sotong at this exact spot, I came across that stunning chicken. It proudly stands on the main street close to Georgetown and its surrounding area, which happens to be where I enjoyed my meal. Between Penang Town Hall and Fort Cornwallis/Queen Victoria Memorial Clock Tower, I discovered this magnificent bird. Unfortunately, it lacks a few features, but I was so captivated by that chicken's charm that I felt compelled to capture it with a 3D scan. Maybe its presence is tied to Chinese New Year celebrations? The year of the Rooster is certainly a unique time for such a striking rooster to appear.
