3D Puzzle Cube
thingiverse
1ST PLACE WINNER OF THE TEXAS TSA GROUP PLASTICS MANUFACTURING DIVISION This is a puzzle cube that I helped design as a project in my engineering class. The project requires teams to draw pieces as isometric views and multiviews. My team had me build it in Tinkercad, then print it out with my 3D printer to ensure everything fit together seamlessly. My group decided it would be awesome to share the design online so others could print and assemble it. To keep things exciting, I won't post a preview picture here, but you can see what the cube looks like on the "I made this" tab instead. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 MM Infill: 15% Notes: Download all files to make things easier. You can scale it any way you want – without scaling, the entire cube is 3x3x3 cm. Resolution isn't crucial either. How I Designed This My group discussed what we wanted the cube to be like. We drew out isometric views of all pieces. I designed the pieces in Tinkercad and printed them out. We built the cube from wooden blocks based on isometric views and the 3D printed puzzle.
