REMINDER: This prototype prosthetic hand still requires several modifications before completion. PLEASE NOTE: Do not re-upload files to other sites or modify them in any way. If you plan to print this out, make sure you have your measurements ready beforehand and scale your hand accordingly. Ensure that the scaling used for all 4 files is uniform. As a reminder, this prosthetic hand is not as sophisticated as those created by professionals, such as the Flexy-Hand or Cyborg Beast. I'm still learning about 3D making and printing, so please don't expect perfect results. What sets my design apart from others is that it doesn't require pins or joints to connect fingers together or the hand plate to the wrist plate, due to space limitations in 3D printers. To compensate for this, I had to split the parts into 3 or 4 files to be printed separately. After printing the hand, you'll need a strong adhesive that can bond metal, wood, or plastic. Note: Hot glue is not recommended. If you have access to a larger printer, consider printing all parts of the hand together, with each part touching or attached to another for easier assembly in the future (as shown in the pictures). To complete your hand, you'll need the following items and can find them at the listed websites: -Non-flexible cord: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000SHOYSY -Flexible cord: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0056EU26M -Finger gel tips: https://shop3duniverse.com/collections/3d-printable-kits/products/gel-grips -Hand foam: https://www.ncmedical.com/item_819.html -Velcro: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006AWFFVQ For a more affordable option, consider the assembly materials kit from shop3duniverse: https://shop3duniverse.com/collections/3d-printable-kits/products/raptor-hand-by-e-nable-assembly-materials-kit A video tutorial on how to assemble this prosthetic hand is available on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HVwC3RnWXk (Note: This video is for assembling a raptor hand, but the process is similar to assembling the Dragon Beast.)
