The human body is made up of billions of tiny cells that work together to keep us alive and functioning properly. These cells are like tiny factories, producing everything from energy to proteins that help build and repair tissues throughout our bodies. The heart beats around 100,000 times per day, pumping blood through a network of veins, arteries, and capillaries that deliver oxygen and nutrients to every part of the body. The lungs take in oxygen and expel carbon dioxide through a process called respiration, while the brain uses energy from food to send signals to the rest of the body.
