3D-PRINTING-NERD SPOOL HOLDER V3
myminifactory
Hello,\r\nThis is my third design for the 3DPN-Spool-Holder Design Challenge! It's a simple yet elegant solution that gets the job done efficiently.\r\nAll the necessary parts are already arranged in the 3dpn-spool-holder-v3.stl file, so you can dive right in and start printing.\r\nWhen I realized I didn't have any 3/4 inch wood on hand, I repurposed some aluminum rods that were just collecting dust - a testament to creative problem-solving!\r\nI know this design may not be the most original piece of art, but it's functional, incredibly rigid, and fully printable from your 3D printer.\r\nThis spool holder takes up minimal space on your shelf, making it an ideal choice for those with limited storage. If you're looking for an even simpler design, I'd recommend checking out my second entry - it may not look as sleek, but it's a great option if you prioritize ease of use over aesthetics.\r\nKeep in mind that this design does require some support to print successfully, but it shouldn't be too much of a challenge. If you've got your bridge settings dialed in, you might even be able to print without supports - just be sure to crank up those bridges to the next level!\r\nThe outer rings are completely free of support needs, making them a breeze to print.\r\nI built this design using Fusion360, and it was an incredible learning experience that helped me hone my skills in part design.\r\nEnjoy!
