3D Printing Nerd Spool Filament Challenge
myminifactory
I designed this model specifically for use between two shelves, using measurements from a video tutorial. The design itself is straightforward and utilizes a standard spool roll, which must be printed separately in order to fit into the "arms." If a larger spool is needed, simply adjust the spool roll size on your slicer software and reposition the "arms" as necessary to accommodate it. The curved shape serves two purposes: it reduces tension caused by the momentum of the filament spool, and adds visual interest and beauty to the overall design. I hope you'll take a closer look at this creation.
