Create a tool for molding materials. Use a 3D printer to make it, then put it together. Once assembled, wrap a thread around it for extra support. To make a metal ax, pour molten paraffin or wax into the mold and let it set. Carefully take the mold apart once the mixture has cooled. The hardened mixture is covered with gypsum. Anyone can use gypsum. Gypsum must be allowed to dry out completely in the sun before the mold form is freed from paraffin. Remove the paraffin from the mold by heating it in a controlled oven until all of it flows into a designated container. Now you have a plaster mold ready for metal casting. The mold will crack if exposed to extreme heat, so we need to keep it contained during the melting process. We'll create a makeshift heater by making a coil out of wire and using an arc welder to apply power. Place the coil in sand on top of the mold. When you heat up the wire coil with sand underneath, the wire coil gets hotter as does the mold itself due to conduction. The sand provides sufficient insulation so the wire will get really hot without burning you. Once the metal is cool enough that it can be poured into the plaster form without it cracking then pour it in.
