I was pondering how to convert a conventional FDM 3D Printer Design for MIG welding and I realized there's no way to adjust the nozzle angle of attack against the workpiece. This design addresses that problem by enabling the attachment of a stepper motor to the "extruder head" allowing you to drive the stepper motor to rotate in sync with the movements, ensuring that you're always welding in line with the wire flow.
