I hope you enjoy this Trophy design for 3D Printing Industry Awards 2020 competition! The intent of this model is to represents the infinite possibilities of 3D printing. I wanted to highlight several techniques and technologies in this design. The base part can be printed with SLM or MJF wihthout supports. The upper crystals part are designed to be made with complex lattice structure on SLA machines. This parts can be fixed to the SLM base with special glues or it could be made a simple Snap-Fit joint modification to the model. Both commercial and not commercial Software have been used for this project. The overall geometry was modelled in Solidworks. Lattice parts were made with "Tissue" Add-on in Blender. The front view is reserved to the "3D PIA 2020" text. Thanks to everyone!
