Enjoy the printer!! Instructions Introduction This is the first version of the Ulticampy 3D printer, fully functional. It's an inexpensive 3D printer that you can build, more robust and reliable than a Prusa or Mendel. It also minimizes noise by allowing complete closure while keeping heat inside. Its clean aesthetic is achieved by embedding nuts within panels, giving it a commercial look. Printing speeds are significantly higher than those of Prusa or Mendel. You can build it in single or double extruder version; the filament pushing method uses a Bowden system that saved us axis weight, so we can use 6mm rods to enhance printing speed without imperfections. The double extruder's printing size is approximately 200x220x200 mm. If you use a smaller central carriage with a single extruder, the printing size becomes 225x235x200 mm. The Ulticampy utilizes Z-axis self-leveling system implemented in latest Marlin firmware to prevent continuous calibration of Z-axis endstops. Bronze bushings for X and Y axis movement require little maintenance, thus improving reliability and overall maintenance compared to linear bearings.
