3D Printer Storage Attachment
thingiverse
I designed this storage attachment with my most-used tools in mind for use with the Replicator 2. I crafted the part using Autodesk Inventor. You'll find the .ipt, .stl, and .thing files attached below. This attachment features a spacious slot perfect for accommodating larger tools and holes precisely designed to hold wrenches - feel free to customize these openings further by drilling into them as needed. My classroom setup has greatly benefited from this very same storage solution; I'm confident it will make a significant difference in yours too! Instructions: I printed the attachment at 3 inches tall without any support, orienting it upside-down on the Replicator 2's build platform. For optimal results, set the infill to 10%, add two shells for increased stability, and set your layer height to a precise .20mm using the standard PLA settings in Makerbot software.
